Liquid-Phase Chemical Cleaning

Service Overview

Engineered Cleaning Chemistry for Effective Liquid-Phase Circulation

Liquid-phase chemical cleaning uses selected cleaning chemistry circulated through process equipment and piping systems to remove hydrocarbons, oils, grease and other process contaminants from internal surfaces.

Excel Tech develops each cleaning program according to equipment configuration, contaminant characteristics, metallurgy and the required cleaning outcome. Appropriate chemistry, concentration, temperature and circulation conditions are selected to achieve effective cleaning and decontamination while maintaining compatibility with the equipment and materials of construction.

The cleaning solution is circulated through the required system or targeted areas to ensure adequate contact with contaminated surfaces and promote the removal of deposits, residues and process contaminants. Where required, circulation parameters are carefully controlled to support consistent cleaning performance across complex piping networks, vessels, heat exchangers and associated process equipment.

Following the cleaning cycle, the spent solution is drained, recovered or transferred for appropriate treatment and disposal in accordance with the applicable requirements. The system is then thoroughly rinsed with fresh water to remove residual chemicals, loosened contaminants and remaining process residues.

Depending on the application, additional flushing, neutralization or verification steps may be incorporated to confirm that the required cleanliness standard has been achieved. The overall process is planned and executed with appropriate attention to safety, environmental considerations, equipment integrity and efficient return of the system to service.
